Fragrant Bakery
Established in 1981 in Mongkok, moving later to Tsuen Wan and now settled down in Sham Shui Po. For the past 20 years, the owner Mrs Ng has placed a chair outside of the shop to allow elderly customers to rest for a while. She loves to give away their cakes and breads to the neighbours, and has built up a close relationship with the residents around the area. The bakery specialises in all kinds of traditional Chinese breads and cakes and they’ve replaced the traditional use of lard with vegetable oil. It’s definitely worth a visit to this yummy bakery in the heart of Sham Shui Po.
