I want to recommend a very special local tea house to you, Sha-Tin Buddies Restaurant. The owner has successfully invited his master, a renowned 78 years old pastry chef to come out of retirement. The owner is also the last apprentice of the master. 78 yr old Chef Chow made the most crispy pineapple bun and egg custard. He wishes to pass on his skills and the spirit of “ made in HK” to hk people. Starting as early as 6:30am every morning, he would carry each of the baked breads and tarts out to the counter. 12 hours of non stop hard work. It’s all worthwhile when he sees his customers enjoying his production. Come and try it out!
